Award for “Atlas of the Copenhagens”

Happy to announce that Atlas of the Copenhagens edited by Deane Simpson, Kathrin Susanna Gimmel, Anders Lonka, Marc Jay, and Joost Grootens, Berlin, Ruby Press, was awarded one of the most beautiful books of Germany 2019. 

Each year the Stiftung Buchkunst (fondation for book art) selects 5 books in 5 categories: literature, scientific books, guidebooks, art books, children’s books. This year two expert juries, 14 jurors, discussed 7 days to choose the best 25 out of 682 books. Out of the 25 awarded books, that are all outstanding in their design, concept, and production, one title will receive the “Stiftung Buchkunst Award,” endowed with 10,000 EUR. The award ceremony will take place on Sep 6th 2019 in Frankfurt/Main.
